Description
Dolpo’s dramatic landscape unfolds in two parts. The upper Dolpo is arid and dramatic, an extension of the Tibetan Plateau. Dolpo remains completely isolated and the time here resembles the centuries old inhabitants. The natives still are the followers of pre-Buddhist Bon Religion. The trail connects you thru the ancient trade route and the steep ascend to cross the Kagmara~La. Visit to the mystical Shey Gompa in the heart of Shey Phoksundo National Park. Enjoy breathtaking views of the snowy peaks of the Kanjirala Himal and Dhaulagiri.
