Description
This trek has everything: the incredible mountain views from Chukung, Kalapatthar and Gokyo Ri. Popularly known as ‘The Ultimate Trek,” it includes all that the Khumbu has to offer including the fascinating villages and Tibetan Buddhist monasteries and the culture and hospitality of the Sherpa people, who will surely win your hearts. After starting with a flight to Lukla (2,805m) we trek up to Kalapatthar view point (5,550m) and then veer off the main trail to cross the Cho-La pass into the Gokyo valley. To top off this unique trek we climb Gokyo Ri for a panoramic view of the greatest mountain scenery in the world including five 8000+m giants and myriad other peaks of the Khumbu Himal.

Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Flight to Lukla from Kathmandu and Trek to Phakding (2610m)
Day 2: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
Day 3: Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar To acclimatize to the higher altitude, we spend a day in Namche Bazaar.
Day 4: Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3,860m); 5 hours
Day 5: Trek to Dingboche (4,350m); 5 and a half hours
Day 6: Acclimatization in Dingboche; 4 and a half hours
Day 7: Trek to Lobuche (4,910m); 5 hours
Day 8: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,365 meters) and back to Gorak Shep (5,180m)
Day 9: Hike up to Kala Patthar (5,545m) and Trek Down to Pheriche (4,120m); 7 hours
Day 10: Tengboche monastery, trek back to Tengboche monastery 5 hours hike, overnight at Monastery
Day 11: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m); 4 hours
Day 12: Trek to Lukla (2,840m); 7 hours
Day 13: Morning Flight Back to Kathmandu
